Mercedes-Benz on Tuesday introduced the 507-horsepower G55 AMG Kompressor Edition 79. Mercedes-Benz said it will limit the production run to just 79 units. Prices have not been announced. The off-roader will be only offered in this part of the world, with no sales planned for the U.S.Mercedes-Benz

The Edition 79, deviates from the standard model thanks to cosmetic changes. They include a front crash bar, carbon-look side trim strips, 19-inch AMG light alloy wheels in a titanium finish and chromed protective grilles for the front indictors, taillights and underguard. The cabin gets black/sand leather seats, carbon-fiber trim and the Edition logo “1 out of 79″ in front of the selector lever.
