March 11th, 2010 admin Comments

In terms of fuel economy, the new engine will allow the upcoming 2011 S63 AMG to return a combined fuel consumption of 22.4 mpg, which is 25% more than the previous model. March 11th, 2010 admin Comments

The Honda 3R-C is a fully single three-wheeler powered by a lithium ion battery, created by Honda’s Milan studio. It will debut at the Geneva International Motor Show 2010.  More about the Honda?  Let’s look a little bit closer at the interior also.

It has a clear canopy that coves te driver’s seat while it is parked and not in use. When 3R-C s in motion, the canopy becomes an enveloping wind-shield that provides the pilot, who sits low in the vehicle, with significant protection from the bodywork doors.   The high sides of the safety shell seat gives greater safety to the occupant, reducing the threat from side impacts and improving weather protection.   The 3R-C designers created a flexible cover that surrounds the upper torso to reduce exposure to bad weather and improving comfort.

March 10th, 2010 admin Comments

This Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet gives distortion to an idea that convertibles make lousy year-round companions. Convertibles have long been something of an acquired taste.  Devotees steadfastly defend a singular sensation of component motoring that can only come when plugged into one’s surrounding breezes, noises and smells.  As well as whilst the naysayers may have had a indicate in the era of tonneau-covered British roadster pilots with their tepid heaters, dubious constructional rigidity as well as leaky, masochistic roof mechanisms, complicated topless numbers like this 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet give distortion to a idea that convertibles make lousy year-round companions.

Honda S2000’s High Performance Hybrid Coupe Rendered Speculation?

March 10th, 2010 admin Comments

The Honda S2000 successor that has made its way on the internet from various Japanese magazines the past year or so is officially confirmed.  Maybe the latest story on the high-performance hybrid sports coupe that would essentially replace the S2000 is based on fiction? Or maybe it is based on facts. The Japanese magazine is once again claiming that Honda is working on what could be best described as the CR-Z’s big brother.

Besides the new rendering that has nothing in common with the magazine’s previous S2000, Best Car this time is saying that the sports model will be a 2+2 coupe with a hybrid powertrain combining a 2.5- 3.0 –liter engine to an electric motor.  There is no word if the power will be transferred to the rear axle or as previously claimed, to all four wheels.

2010 Lexus LS60 Sport-could it be?

March 5th, 2010 admin Comments

Lexus cultivated a reputation for isolation drivers from all of the undignified sensations normally associated with driving; it might be a surprise to find a Sport model in the LS lineup. Such cars as BMW M5, Cadillac CTS-V, Audi S6 and S8, and Mercedes-Benz AMG cars out there that prove there is a market for sports-tuned large sedans like this 2010 Lexus LS460 Sport.

The 2010 Lexus LS460 Sport is quite impressive.  It’s not one of those cars that you would drop the Germans or lone American from our top contenders list, you would be willing to add LS to “worth-watching” list.  Could Lexus successfully move its F-Sport tuning up a weight class, and would the LS460 Sport actually contend with other heavyweights in the segment?

BMW M1 not happening?

March 5th, 2010 admin Comments

BMW rumors have been going around about a possible M-badged version of the lovely BMW 1 Series.  Reports from Inside Line reveal that while a 1 Series-based M1 isn’t happening, we can look forward to seeing a spiced up 135is, which is similar to the Z4 sDrive35is and 335is.

The BMW 135is is expected to use the boosted version of BMW’s N54 twin-turbo six found in the Z4 and 3 Series variants. It might not be as exciting as what the full-bore M1 could be with the BMW M1. Why not make the M1? Well similar problems as with Porsche  with the Cayman and the 911. BMW certainly wouldn’t want that. Be happy that BMW is committed to producing a more potent 1 Series and are eagerly awaiting our first drive.
